NEW GIN HOTEL TO OPEN IN WEST LONDON
Right in time for World Gin Day, London sees the opening of a gin hotel.
On 9thJune 2018, The Princess Victoria in Shepherd’s Bush, one of the earliest and most notable gin palaces which dates back to 1829, will open five luxury boutique bedrooms.
Nestled on the top two floors of this historic building, each individually designed bedroom will be named after a famous gin cocktail: the Negroni, Bramble, Vesper, Gibson and Bronx. The unique bedrooms will take their design cues from gin botanicals and guests will even receive a free gin and tonic during their stay.* With over 100 artisan and big-name gins on the bar menu guests will also be given every opportunity to hone their gin tasting skills.
The elegant interiors will pay homage to the striking beauty of the original 1820s gin palaces. There will be artwork from the Adam Ellis studio, contemporary lighting, stunning tiled bathrooms, rain showers, luxurious deep pile carpets, Shakespeare pocket spring beds, Egyptian cotton linen, free wifi, flat screen TVs and Nespresso machines. An in-room breakfast will be provided during the week for the time conscious traveller whilst at weekends a full breakfast menu will be served in the downstairs dining room.
The Princess Victoria bedrooms have been created to appeal to businessmen and women with high expectations as well as couples looking for a luxurious city escape. Prices will start at £99 for The Bramble room and £119 for all the other rooms. Bookings can be taken now directly via The Princess Victoria website.
